"TANDEM!” … Aussie F/A-18F Super and EA-18G Growler strike a pose somewhere over a mountainous region
This artwork from 2011, presented as a ‘farewell’ gift by tthe company to colleague Richard Aplin (name used with permission). Depicted here is the Growler (rear aircraft) a full four years prior to its entering service with the RAAF.
The Growler you see rendered here has all the correct antennas and sensor blisters, added under the guidance of a genuine subject matter expert.
There … in one omission on the Growler, it would take a sharp set of eyes to note what it is.

THE “FARE THEE WELL” Series - I’ve reached out to a number of people who, over the years, have been in receipt of “farewell” artwork I was tasked with creating. Given that I’ve now ‘retired’, I’m able to showcase that work via their photos without any questions being asked.
