WHAT? THAT’S NOT A CORRECT GROWLER CONFIG! …

This artwork from 2011, gifted by the company to Lorne Mitchell at the time of his return to the US, having spent six months with us via an exchange program. 

Astute viewers will immediately notice something is seriously off in this depiction EA-18G Growler: where are the ALQ-99s? And why is the JSOW AGM 154 being depicted? … although the wing tip ALQ-218s are correct. 

Like, great questions: literally, under SME (and other) guidance at the time, the loadout showcased here is exactly what I was told to illustrate.

At time of rendering up this scene, the Growler was not yet in Australia, and various options were being considered.
