FORMIDABLE DUO …
This artwork 2007 gifted by the company to J. Miguel Vaca as a thank you upon his departure to greener pastures.
Depicted is an Australian (unmarked) F-111C, one of the less frequent times I was actually tasked with modeling a platform from scratch. To get the level of accuracy required, I got to hold in my hands the original, double-tome engineering (still in pencil) drawings and calculations dates as far back as the ‘60s … I can still smell the paper, haven’t washed my hands since!
Also depicted is the FA-18A Classic Hornet in “20 Years” livery.
APOLOGIES! for the (occasional) low-res image and reflections in the glass, it’s the best I have of this framed artwork!

The “FARE THEE WELL” Series - Over 2024-25 I reached out to a number of people who, over the years, have been in receipt of “farewell” artwork I was tasked with creating. Given that I’ve now ‘retired’, I’m able to showcase that work via their photos without any questions being asked.
